Blogapalooza's search for its next #BlogaLIVEHost has returned for a third season, and it's bigger than ever!

For the third comeback of its BlogaLive Host Search, Blogagpalooza, the Philippines' premier influencer marketing company, has partnered with Shoppertainment LIVE, the country's pioneer full-production livestream shopping enabler, to take the contest to the next level with the latter's live streaming, hosting, and digital marketing tools and solutions.

What is Blogapalooza's BlogaLIVEHost Search?

A competition that started back in 2020, Blogapalooza's host search aims to discover individuals who have what it takes to connect powerfully and authentically with the online audience of the company's future virtual events and build a new breed of influencers who can really help businesses create opportunities. The BlogaLIVE Host Search serves as a platform for aspiring Philippine-based content creators who can bring life to a virtual stage with their undeniable appeal, charm, and magnetic stage and screen presence.



In the first installment of the contest, the BlogaFam welcomed a number of talented and charming individuals and crowned Eryka Lucas as the grand winner, with Ryan Tresplacios in the second place and Bea Rodriguez in the third – all of whom are still appearing in numerous virtual events as hosts while respectively pursuing different career paths beyond the entertainment industry. This also applies to Chal Maling, Maite Cruz, and Jazper Tiongson – the Top 3 #BlogaLIVEHost Search Winners of the second batch in 2021.

For the third batch, Blogapalooza made it even bigger and better by adding a bit of spice to the mix!

New batch, new talents, new opportunities to elevate influence

Firstly, sticking to what has been its criteria for judging since the first edition of BlogaLIVE Host Search, Blogapalooza explained it thoroughly this time as the following:

• Online stage presence: 35%

The contestant displays a command of the "online stage" by adapting their charisma, resourcefulness, and communication skills to an online platform to engage the audience and judges. They are comfortable online and can encourage the audience to participate and interact with the community and the program.

• Influence: 35%

The contestant, as a content creator and member of the Blogapalooza community, demonstrates appeal to both brands and consumers by conveying authenticity and experience. They display experience with content creation and can inspire fellow content creators to best promote positive experiences within and beyond the influencer community.

• Personality and expression: 20%

The contestant conveys a pleasant and energetic personality and can express this in their interactions with the judges, host, and other contestants.

• Audience impact: 10%

The contestant is interactive, unforgettable, and can encourage the audience to watch their future appearances. 

Aside from providing more detailed criteria for judging this year, Blogapalooza also made Shoppertainment LIVE its official partner for bigger prizes and even bigger opportunities for the top three winners of Batch 3!

The Grand Winner will be receiving a slot as a BlogaHost and P50,000 worth of Shoppertainment Live training program. Meanwhile, aside from slots as a BlogaHost, P5,000 worth of Special Shoppertainment Live Loot Bag will be given to the first runner-up and P3,000 worth of Special Shoppertainment Live Loot Bag for the 2nd runner-up.

What's next for the BlogaLive Host hopefuls?

The Top 10 Semi-finalists of this year's search were announced last June 13, 2022.



Voting started on June 14 and ended on June 20, and during the voting period, a series of #BlogaLIVE episodes were aired by Blogapalooza on Facebook Live to help the viewers get to know each BlogaLive Host hopeful and vote better.

With introductions and backstories laid out, the show's end is just a few days away, so you better stick around to find out who will reign supreme among the newest batch of BlogaLive Host Search hopeful content creators (and if your bet gets to be it)!

The announcement of the finalists for the Top 5 will be aired today at 11:00 p.m., and the contest's grand finale will air on Blogapalooza and Shoppertainment LIVE's official Facebook pages before the end of the week.
