Shoppertainment Live Sets New Records for 11.11 Shopping Festival

With a whopping total of 47 livestreams for this year’s 11.11 sale campaign, the #1 livestream shopping network in the Philippines continues to show unstoppable growth

Since 2020, Shoppertainment Live has been seeing a steady increase in branded livestream shows for the annual 11.11 sale campaign, starting with executing just 7 livestreams to jumping to 28 last year, and now breaking records with 47 live shows in a span of three days. 

This is unprecedented and by no means an easy feat to achieve, and SLI CEO Hiyasmin Neri-Soyao credits teamwork for making it possible. “Being a livestream shopping network, it takes a lot of close coordination mounting a livestream shopping show, more so doing it simultaneously in a single day, but we did it. Teamwork did that,” she notes. 

28 Livestreams in a single day 

For Shoppertainment Live, 11.11 is not only a measure of the company’s growth, but of the entire live commerce industry as well. From 14 live shows for last year’s 11.11, SLI doubled the number this year – all in a single day – proving the demand for livestream shopping isn’t slowing down anytime soon. 

Global and local brands alike joined the much-anticipated 11.11 livestream campaign, including: multinational consumer goods company Unilever with Unilever Foods, Unilever Homecare, and Unilever Beauty; top pet food brands Pedigree and Royal Canin, world-famous mobile phone accessory brand Popsockets; global baby care manufacturer Pigeon; digital technology world leader LG; beauty and skincare brands Silka and Garnier; Filipino food company Clara Olé; leading pharmaceutical company Unilab; trusted parenting partner Ogalala; global jeanswear leader Levi’s; Indonesia’s first e-commerce company iStyle; and food and beverage company Del Monte. 

Aside from teamwork, another important factor played in the success of SLI’s record-breaking 28 livestreams for 11.11: trust. “[But] another not so secret sauce we have that we mix with teamwork, it’s trust. Trust in knowing that your teammates will be doing what they need to do as you do your part as well. Trusting that when things get tough, the team will be there to back you up,” Neri-Soyao says. 

Another history in the making 

The recent 11.11 livestream campaign was truly one of the books, and the upcoming 12.12 is projected to be just as big, if not more.
