To give a glimpse of their latest offering of stylish yet functional clothing, Global apparel retailer Uniqlo held an exclusive preview of their 2023 Spring/Summer LifeWear Collection at Whitespace Manila last February 17. Themed A Sense of Ease, the new collection aims to help consumers easily transition their wardrobe into the upcoming season. 

Getting to know the new LifeWear collection 

With curated seasonal and neutral palettes, Uniqlo’s Colors collection adds richness and variety to everyday life. The collection is mainly centered on linen, highly functional and breathable fabric that is perfect for the upcoming summer. Aside from being durable, it also offers maximum comfort and absorbency, making it an ideal material for daily apparel. Sister influencers Chi and Gabs Gibbs, both wearing pieces from the Colors collection, shared tips and tricks to mixing and matching the playful yet versatile items of the collection. 

Stylish and comfortable, the Clean collection offers versatile pieces that can be worn from day to night. The collection highlights the AirSense Jacket, a high-quality jacket that keeps wearer comfortable during the changing seasons, as well as the new Pleated Wide Pants and AirSense Pants (Ultra Light Pants) as stylish new variations. Donning items from the collection, husband and wife duo Joni and Camille Co-Koro talked about their favorite pieces which give a timeless yet modern look, an embodiment of their own lifestyle. 

Featuring highly practical and functional items, the Casual collection puts emphasis on the importance of feeling and looking one’s best in day-to-day life. The collection capitalizes on blue color palette and light white, a nod to the origins of authentic workwear while providing comfort through modern styling, perfect for those on the go. 

Timelier than ever, Uniqlo’s UV Protection collection offers an array of UV protection outwear, from parkas and leggings to sleeves and caps. These UV-protected items are capable of blocking 90% UV rays, adding much-needed protection in a stylish way. They also have up to UPF50+ ratings, which means UV rays would take as much as 50 times as long to have the same effect on bare skin.  

The exclusive preview also showcased the AIRism collection which offers excellent breathability and moisture absorption for everyday wear; Uniqlo U collection, which features easy-to-wear and easy-to-care items designed for all kinds of movement; and UT collection, a line of graphic t-shirts that celebrate pop culture from around the world. 

Simple things made better with Uniqlo 

Through their 2023 Spring/Summer LifeWear Collection, Uniqlo offers better design and better comfort, never failing to cater to their customers’ ever-changing needs.
